Amy B. Rosenstein is an experienced human health and ecological risk assessor, focusing on the risks associated with hazardous chemicals, including sites with sediment contamination, air emissions health impacts, and Department of Defense sites with munitions wastes.  She has conducted human health risk assessments for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor exposures, and ecological risk assessments for freshwater and saltwater environments.  Ms. Rosenstein communicates with federal and state regulators and the public regarding risk assessment approaches, risk results, and proposed remedial actions.  She is currently involved with both applied risk assessments to support site assessment and remediation, and with policy-level risk assessment and dose-response approaches, focusing on advancing risk assessment practice.  Ms. Rosenstein holds a Master’s in Public Health/Environmental Health from Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bin Xu is an expert in air pollution modeling, monitoring and assessment. His research focused on developing quantitative models to characterize pollutant transport in the on- and near-roadway atmosphere. His previous projects were funded by federal, international, and local agencies and organizations focusing on environmental health and global health. Dr. Xu's interest also include the characterization and calculation of the air pollutant emission from engine, and characterizing air pollutants (CO, CO2, Black Carbon, particular matters) with traditional and alternative fuel types, e.g. gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, hybrid.
